Bio: Odem treats infertility and its underlying causes. He also has been involved in the study of the causes of recurrent miscarriage.

Additional Background: Odem's clinical work and laboratory research focus on infertility. He works with patients who have gone through recurrent pregnancy loss, and he is a specialist in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery -- minimally invasive surgery conducted through the abdomen or the cervix. In addition, Odem is working to develop preimplantation genetic diagnosis technology to improve in vitro fertilization (IVF). This technology would enable doctors to screen embryos prior to implantation and identify embryos that are free of known disease genes, ultimately increasing the chances of successful implantation and pregnancy.
