Bio: Juan Peña's research interests include suicide prevention, HIV prevention, adolescence, Latinos, and acculturation. Before earning his Ph.D. at Columbia University in New York, Peña's practice experience included serving families and children in various setting including prevention programs, drug clinics, schools, and mental health clinics. Peña's work can be read in a number of publications including the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology and the American Journal of Public Health. He has presented and lectured on several topics across America.
