These activities are subject to change due to weather, equipment breakdowns, or other unforeseen circumstances. For the most up-to-date project information, please visit www.thenewi64.org or call the infoline at 314-524-9191. Any scheduling updates will be posted there first.

This work is all part of a $420 million freeway reconstruction contract awarded to Gateway Constructors by the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission in December. The project will completely reconstruct I-64 from west of Spoede Road to east of Kingshighway Boulevard, a distance of about 10 miles. It will create a freeway-to-freeway interchange at I-170; rebuild 29 bridges and all 12 interchanges. One lane will also be added in each direction from west of Spoede Road to I-170.

Travelers can get up-to-the-minute traffic information on interstates or major state routes by dialing 5-1-1 from most cell phones; if 5-1-1 isn't available from your carrier, please dial 877-478-5511 (877-4STL-511).
